Simon "Le Professeur" Cook
Russell "FunkyFret" Jarrett
Funkyfret is the most widely travelled member of the band having studied lived and played as a wandering troubadour in many wondrous places. Still recovering from an epic 8,192 bar solo on “Just Friends” at the Eton Arms in Windsor on a slow Tuesday, Russell’s guitar playing brings an international touch of sophistication to the proceedings.
Martin "Tallguy" Pine
A veteran of the dreadful “Kopanitsa” wars of the 1980’s in which activist bands threatened to dislocate dancers hips by randomly inserting extra quavers in bars played at over 350 bpm, Tall Guy is now a reformed character, and provides percussive grace to a host of magnificent ensembles (including this one!).
"Maestra" Marianne Windham
Alan "Bandalot" Yates
A prime mover with the “offset” movement (who upset traditionalists with their technique of soloing on the chord before last). These days Bandalot is mostly to be found playing saxophone for his supper out on the street. However the band have encouraged him to come indoors and provide reedy warblings for Honk.
